Short verdict: FitVille sells wide-fit and comfort shoes at fair prices, mostly between about 40 and 105 US dollars. Shipping is slow and you pay to send returns back. We rate it 3.7 out of 5.
How we wrote this review: we used the live FitVille website, its product feed, and its shipping, returns and FAQ pages, all read on 6 October 2026. We have not ordered from FitVille ourselves, so we cannot say how the shoes feel or how long they last. Claims about comfort and foot health are the brand's own claims.
What is FitVille?
FitVille is an online shoe shop at thefitville.com. It focuses on wide and extra-wide shoes. The range includes walking shoes, hiking shoes, boots, sandals, slip-ons, insoles and socks. There are items for men and women. The shop also lists a few clothing pieces, such as a jacket, joggers and a T-shirt.
The store runs on Shopify and the shop currency is US dollars. At the time of writing the product feed showed 135 products. The site says it sells wide sizes, and its FAQ explains the width codes 2E, 4E and 6E, which show how wide a shoe is.
The home page says "Sole Specialists" can help you pick a shoe through a chat window. The store gives support hours of Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM EST. The home page also shows a quote from a podiatrist praising the design. We could not check who wrote it, so treat it as marketing.

These are one-time prices in US dollars, checked on 6 October 2026. Prices change, and the store can run sales that show a lower price at checkout.
Most shoes cost 40 to 95 dollars. Some list prices are higher than the selling price, for example 70 against 42.90. A list price is set by the store, so do not treat it as proof of a real saving. Many other shoes show the same number for both, so they are simply sold at full price.
The home page also mentions a paid "Comfort+ Club" at 29 dollars and a store-credit scheme. The store text we read does not explain what the club includes, so check the terms before you join.
Fit, width and comfort
Width is the main reason to look at FitVille. The FAQ says the widths 2E, 4E and 6E are used, and it links to a width guide. Check the product page for the widths offered, because not every shoe may come in every width.
The FAQ says the shoes are true to size for 87 percent of existing customers. The store gives no source for this number. It suggests you try your usual size.
The store says most people find its shoes and orthotics comfortable straight away. It adds that some people need a break-in period. It suggests wearing new shoes for a few hours a day in the first days. It says that within one to two weeks they should feel comfortable.
FitVille markets some shoes and insoles for foot comfort, arch support and sore feet. These are the brand's claims. We cannot confirm that any shoe helps with a medical foot problem. If you have diabetes, plantar fasciitis or another foot condition, ask a doctor or podiatrist before you buy.
Shipping
The store says most stock ships from its warehouses in the US (Los Angeles or New Jersey). A few items ship from Germany and Hong Kong. It says orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days and sent the next day.
Delivery times are not fully consistent on the site. The main shipping page gives 7 to 15 business days for the US and 5 to 15 business days for Australia and Canada. The shorter shipping policy page gives 4 to 12 business days for the US. The FAQ says 7 to 15 business days on average. Plan for the longer figure. The shipping page also says US tariff changes cause delays of 2 to 3 days.
The store says it ships all over the world. Shipping costs are not in the product price. The system works out the fee at checkout. The shipping page says that in general, orders over 75 dollars ship free, and that there are exceptions. Buyers outside the US may have to pay customs fees, and the store says it is not responsible for customs delays. The store sends a tracking code by email within one business day, and tracking may take 1 to 3 more business days to show.
Returns and refunds
- You have 30 days from the day you receive the items. The package must be postmarked within that time.
- Items must be clean, unworn and unwashed, packed in the original inner packaging.
- Email contact@thefitville.com first. The store says it usually replies in 24 to 48 hours with instructions.
- The customer pays the return shipping to the local warehouse. Do not send the parcel to the address on the shipping label.
- The store says it refunds in 2 to 3 business days after it gets the return. The refund goes to the original payment method.
- Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.
- An order can only be cancelled before it is shipped or made.
The paid return shipping matters for shoes. If you need two or three tries to find your size, the postage costs can add up. The store does not state a fixed return fee, so ask support for a quote.
What customers say
We could not get an independent customer score for FitVille today. Trustpilot did not load when we checked on 6 October 2026, and the store has no rating in our database. For that reason we do not quote a score. Read recent reviews on the product pages and on independent sites before you buy. Pay attention to comments about sizing, width, delivery time and refund speed.
