Short verdict: ENGWE IT (it.engwe.com) is ENGWE's Italian-language store, selling the same e-bikes and scooters as the brand's other European sites at the same euro prices, with local checkout options and free delivery in 7 to 10 business days. The catalogue is wide and several models are on sale, but a change-of-mind return on an e-bike costs €200 and the store itself has no independent review score yet. We rate it 3.8 out of 5.

How we wrote this review: we read ENGWE IT's product listings, shipping page and refund policy on it.engwe.com, checked live prices in the store's products file, and looked at what Trustpilot shows for ENGWE's stores. We have not ordered from ENGWE IT ourselves, so what follows is based on the store's own pages and public data, not on personal experience with the products or the delivery.

What is ENGWE IT?

ENGWE IT is the Italian version of ENGWE, a China-based brand that sells electric bikes, folding e-bikes and electric scooters directly online. The site is in Italian, shows prices in euros, and uses the Shopify checkout with Klarna, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and card payments, plus local methods such as Satispay through the card processor. On 29 September 2026 the store listed 106 products, including e-bikes, e-scooters, batteries and accessories such as racks, baskets and warranty extensions. ENGWE runs country-specific stores across Europe, and on 14 September 2026 the Italian store had more models in stock than any other one we checked, including bikes that were sold out elsewhere.

Products and prices

Prices below in euros. Rows marked "today" are one-time prices read from the store's live product data on 29 September 2026; rows marked "14 Sep 2026" come from an earlier check recorded in our store notes and may have moved since.

ProductPriceList priceWhat you get
P275 SE (14 Sep 2026)€999€1,499Entry city e-bike, torque sensor, listed with free fenders and a rear rack
P20 (14 Sep 2026)€999€1,399Folding belt-drive e-bike

ENGWE Zip (today)€1,099€1,099Standard e-bike, no listed markdown
N1 Pro (14 Sep 2026)€1,599€2,899Carbon mid-drive city e-bike
ENGWE O20 Boost (today)€1,199€1,299Folding e-bike, 1200 W peak motor
EP-2 3.0 Boost (today)€1,299€1,299Fat-tyre e-bike with boost button
E26 3.0 Pro (today)€1,899€2,099Fat-tyre e-bike, mid-drive motor, dual suspension
ENGWE Y700 (today)€599€699Folding electric scooter
ENGWE Y1000 (today)€999€1,099Electric scooter, larger battery than the Y700

These are one-time purchase prices, not a subscription. The store's own list prices ("was" prices) show the biggest cuts on the N1 Pro and P275 SE; some models, like the Zip and EP-2 3.0 Boost, are shown with no markdown at all, so shop around the catalogue rather than assuming every listing is reduced.

Build, range and what to check before buying

ENGWE's range spans commuter e-bikes, fat-tyre bikes, folding models and mopeds-style bikes, plus scooters. Each product page states its motor power, battery capacity, claimed range and whether it uses a torque sensor. Because claimed range and power come from the brand, treat them as ENGWE's own figures rather than independently verified numbers. A few models, including the EP-2 3.0 Boost and the L20 3.0 range, currently come with a second year of warranty added for free, and some e-bikes ship with a free rear rack, fenders or a bag; these extras are tied to specific models and can change, so check the current product page rather than relying on older notes.

Shipping

E-bikes and scooters ship free by DPD from ENGWE's EU warehouses in France and Poland, arriving in Italy in 7 to 10 business days; FedEx express costs €50 if you want it faster. Accessories ship free by DPD or DHL from the EU in 7 to 10 business days, or from China by CNE in 7 to 15 days if a part is not stocked in Europe. Orders are processed within 2 business days of the confirmation email and the parcel leaves on the third business day; a tracking number is emailed once it ships. Once a parcel has shipped it cannot be stopped or redirected for free, and the courier may only attempt delivery once before leaving the parcel at a pick-up point, so plan to be available or check the pick-up option in advance.

Returns and refunds

ENGWE gives 30 days from delivery to request a return, but you must email service@engwe.com first; a parcel sent back without approval is refused. For an e-bike, it must be unused, showing under 10 km on the display, clean and complete in its original box with the charger, keys and hardware. If you simply change your mind, ENGWE deducts a restocking and shipping fee of €200 per e-bike, and you also pay the cost of shipping it back. Cancelling an order before it ships costs 5% of the price; cancelling or refusing it after it has shipped costs €200. If a product arrives faulty, ENGWE offers an exchange or refund within 30 days, though the policy still lists a €100 shipping charge in that case; problems found after 30 days go through the warranty process instead. Once a return is inspected, refunds are issued within 3 business days and typically reach your account in 3 to 10 business days after that. In short, returning a full-size e-bike here is expensive unless something is actually wrong with it.

What customers say

it.engwe.com does not have its own Trustpilot profile. ENGWE's EU-wide store, which uses the same warehouses and support team, scored 4.5 out of 5 from 632 reviews as of 14 September 2026. Reviewers there praised customer support, but some complained about rims arriving damaged in transit and about slow repair turnaround for warranty claims. Because this score covers the wider EU operation and not the Italian store specifically, treat it as an indication of how ENGWE generally handles orders and support rather than a rating of it.engwe.com itself.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Wide catalogue with e-bikes, folding models, scooters and accessories in one Italian-language store
  • Several models discounted well below their list price, such as the N1 Pro and P275 SE
  • Free DPD delivery on e-bikes and scooters, with a paid express option if you need it sooner
  • Local payment options including Klarna, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Satispay
  • Clear tiered warranty covering the frame, motor, battery and other parts for up to 12 months

Cons

  • Change-of-mind returns on e-bikes cost €200 in restocking and shipping fees, on top of return shipping
  • Standard delivery takes 7 to 10 business days, and express shipping adds €50
  • No Trustpilot profile for the Italian store itself, so its own service record is not independently visible
  • ENGWE's wider EU reviews mention rims damaged in transit and slow warranty repairs
  • A parcel can only be redirected before it ships; once dispatched, changes are limited or costly

Who should buy from ENGWE IT?

ENGWE IT is a reasonable choice for shoppers in Italy who want a wide choice of e-bikes or scooters in their own language, are comfortable buying directly from the manufacturer rather than a local bike shop, and are confident about the model and size they want before ordering. It is a weaker fit for anyone who might change their mind after delivery, since undoing an e-bike order after it ships is costly, or for buyers who want fast, next-day delivery, since standard shipping takes over a week.

Tips before you order

  • Check the current product page for the exact list price and any free extras, since these change between models and over time.
  • Measure yourself against the frame size and maximum load listed on the product page before ordering, since sizing mistakes are the most common reason for an expensive change-of-mind return.
  • Unbox and check the bike as soon as it arrives, and photograph any transport damage immediately, since claims need to be raised within the 30-day window.
  • If you are not in a hurry, standard DPD shipping is free; only pay for FedEx express if the extra week genuinely matters.
  • Keep the original box, charger and hardware until you are sure you are keeping the bike, since a complete box is required for any return.

ENGWE IT offers a broad, competitively priced range for Italian shoppers, but the €200 e-bike return fee means it pays to be sure before you order.
