ENGWE ES Review 2026: Is ENGWE's Spanish Store Worth It?

Short verdict: ENGWE ES (es.engwe.com) sells the same e-bikes and scooters as ENGWE's main store, at the same euro prices, but with a Spanish-language site, Bizum at checkout and delivery limited to mainland Spain. Shipping is free but slow, and a change-of-mind return on an e-bike costs €200, so this suits shoppers who are fairly sure of their choice before they order. We rate it 4 out of 5.

What is ENGWE ES?

ENGWE ES is ENGWE's dedicated store for Spain. ENGWE is a Chinese e-bike and e-scooter brand that also runs engwe.com and other country stores across Europe. The Spanish store carries the same range as the main site, from folding city e-bikes to fat-tyre and carbon models, plus a line of electric scooters, all priced in euros. The site, product descriptions and policy pages are in Spanish, and Bizum is offered alongside cards, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

The store also sells combo packs (two bikes at once), spare batteries and accessories such as racks and baskets. On the day we checked, 114 products were listed and most of the main e-bikes and scooters were in stock; some models, including the LE20, showed as unavailable.

Range and quality

ENGWE's range spans several styles: lightweight carbon city bikes (N1 Air, N1 Pro), moped-styled and fat-tyre bikes (E26 3.0 Pro, M20, M1), folding commuter bikes (P275 SE, P20, O20 Boost) and a smaller line of folding scooters (Y-series). ENGWE describes torque sensors, hydraulic brakes and EU type-approval on several models, and lists motor power, torque and range figures on each product page. These are the brand's own specifications; we have not measured them independently.

The site currently lists some free extras with specific models, such as an extended second-year warranty on a few e-bikes. These offers can change, so check the current product page before you order.

Shipping

E-bikes and scooters ship free by DPD from ENGWE's warehouses in France and Poland, arriving in mainland Spain in 7 to 10 business days; FedEx express delivery costs €50. Orders are processed within 2 business days of the confirmation email and the parcel leaves on the third day, with tracking sent by email once it ships. Once a parcel has been dispatched it cannot be stopped or redirected free of charge.

Delivery is limited to peninsular Spain. The store does not ship to the Canary Islands (postcodes starting 35 or 38), and the Balearic Islands are not listed as a delivery area either. Accessories ordered on their own ship free from the EU in 7 to 10 business days, or from China in 7 to 15 business days.

Returns and refunds

ENGWE ES gives 30 days from delivery to request a return, but you must email service@engwe.com first; a parcel sent back without approval is refused. To qualify, the bike must be unused (under 10 km on the display), clean and complete in its original box with the charger, keys and hardware.

If you simply change your mind, ENGWE deducts a restocking and shipping fee of €200 per e-bike, and you also pay for the return shipping. Cancelling an order before it ships costs 5% of the order; cancelling or refusing it after it has shipped costs €200. If the product is faulty, ENGWE offers an exchange or refund within 30 days, though the policy still keeps a €100 shipping charge; after 30 days, faults are handled under warranty instead. Once a return is inspected, refunds are processed within 3 business days and typically reach your account in 3 to 10 business days after that.

The warranty covers 12 months on the frame, fork, motor, battery, controller, display and wiring; 6 months on lights, kickstand, fenders, racks, pedals, chain, derailleur and hubs; 3 months on the saddle, plastics, brake rotors, pads and cables; and 1 month on tyres.

es.engwe.com does not have its own Trustpilot profile. ENGWE's EU store, which shares the same warehouses and support team, scored 4.5 out of 5 from 632 reviews when we checked on 14 September 2026. Common praise in those reviews is for the support team's responsiveness; common complaints mention rims arriving damaged in transit and repairs taking a long time to resolve. Because these reviews cover the wider EU operation rather than the Spanish store specifically, treat this score as a guide to ENGWE's overall service rather than a direct measure of es.engwe.com.

Who should buy ENGWE ES?

ENGWE ES is a reasonable choice for shoppers in mainland Spain who already know roughly which model they want and are comfortable buying online in Spanish, using Bizum, Klarna or a card. It also suits buyers who want a wide choice of e-bike styles at one store rather than comparing several brands.

It is a less good fit for anyone in the Canary or Balearic Islands, since delivery is not offered there, or for shoppers who want to try a bike locally and return it easily if it does not suit them, given the €200 change-of-mind fee.

Tips before you order

Check your postcode against the Canary Islands exclusion before ordering, and confirm delivery to your address if you live outside mainland Spain. Measure your own height and inseam against the size chart on the product page rather than guessing. Unbox and inspect the bike on the day it arrives, since transport damage needs to be reported within the 30-day window. Keep the original box, charger, keys and hardware in case you need to return the bike, as a return without them may be refused. If you are unsure between two models, contact support before you order, since a change of mind afterwards is not free.
