ENGWE DK Review 2026: Is dk.engwe.com Good for Buying an E-Bike in Denmark?

Short verdict: ENGWE DK is the Danish version of the ENGWE e-bike and scooter store, with prices in kroner, a Danish-language site and free delivery in 7 to 10 business days. The range and prices track the wider ENGWE store closely, and the main things to weigh are the slow-ish delivery window and a fee ENGWE charges if you send a working bike back simply because you changed your mind. We rate it 3.9 out of 5.

What is ENGWE DK?

ENGWE DK, at dk.engwe.com, is the Danish storefront of ENGWE, a brand that sells electric bikes, folding e-bikes, fat-tyre e-bikes and electric scooters. The site sells the same models as the main engwe.com store, but prices are shown in Danish kroner and the site itself is in Danish. Checkout accepts cards, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Support runs by email at service.dk@engwe.com, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00.

The range covers city bikes like the P275 SE, folding models such as the EP-2 3.0 Boost, fat bikes like the E26 3.0 Pro, and a line of Y-series electric scooters, alongside batteries, warranty extensions and accessories such as baskets, locks and phone holders.

Kroner prices on ENGWE DK line up with the euro prices on engwe.com at roughly 7.46 kr per euro, so Danish shoppers are not paying a markup for the local currency. The upside of buying on the kroner site is paying without a card conversion fee and dealing with a Danish-language checkout and support address, rather than a price difference.

Warranty and how the bikes are covered

ENGWE's stated warranty (checked 14 September 2026) runs 12 months on the frame, fork, motor, battery, controller, display and wiring; 6 months on lights, kickstand, fenders, racks, pedals, chain, derailleur and hubs; 3 months on the saddle, plastics, brake rotors, pads and cables; and 1 month on tyres. At that date, the L20 3.0 Boost, L20 3.0 Pro and EP-2 3.0 Boost came with a free second year added on top. Extended warranty can also be bought separately and added to a bike order.

Shipping

E-bikes and scooters ship free by DPD from ENGWE's warehouses in France and Poland, arriving in Denmark in 7 to 10 business days. FedEx express is available for €50, about 375 kr. Accessories ship free by DPD or DHL from the EU in 7 to 10 business days, or by CNE from China in 7 to 15 business days. Orders are processed within 2 business days of the confirmation email and leave the warehouse on the third day; a tracking number is emailed once the parcel is dispatched. Once a parcel has shipped, it cannot be stopped or redirected for free, so double-check the delivery address before you order.

Returns and refunds

ENGWE DK gives 30 days from delivery to request a return, but you must email service.dk@engwe.com first; a parcel sent back without approval is refused. The bike needs to be unused, with under 10 km on the display, complete in its original box with the charger, keys and hardware, and you need the receipt. If the bike works fine and you are returning it simply because you changed your mind, ENGWE deducts a shipping and handling fee of about €200 per e-bike (roughly 1,490 kr) and €100 per battery, and the customer pays the return shipping to the warehouse in Stryków, Poland. Sale accessories cannot be returned at all. Cancelling before dispatch, meaning within the first two business days, is free. If an item arrives faulty, damaged or wrong, ENGWE replaces or refunds it in full instead of charging that fee. Refunds are processed within 3 business days of inspection and typically take 3 to 10 business days to reach the customer's account.

What customers say

On Trustpilot, dk.engwe.com had a rating of 4.1 out of 5 from 7 reviews as of 14 September 2026 (we could not load the live Trustpilot page today). That is a small sample, but the pattern in it is clear: most reviews were five stars and praised fast delivery and support that replaced damaged parts. One review, at two stars, described a customer who lost money after buying from an independent dealer in Esbjerg that later went out of business, rather than from ENGWE's own store. That is a reminder to buy directly from dk.engwe.com and to check any bike for shipping damage as soon as it arrives, since damage needs to be reported within the 30-day return window.

It is a weaker fit for anyone who wants next-day delivery, who might want to return a bike simply because it is not what they expected, or who wants to buy through a local Danish bike shop with in-person support and servicing.
